Buckwheat Flour
The flour, offered by Chiavenna Pasta Factory, can be used for homemade preparation of Pizzoccheri and desserts made with buckwheat.
Discover the productIngredients for 5 people:
- 120 g buckwheat flour
- 3 CC of Whole Brown Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 2 generous CCs of Coconut Milk
- A drop of Milk if needed.
- 1 scant cc of baking powder
- 1 cc of Pain d'Epices mix or Cinnamon or Ginger, whichever you prefer.
- The tip of a teaspoon of Turmeric (optional but recommended)
Preparation:
Separate the egg white from the yolk, whip the egg whites until stiff, In another bowl add the flour, sugar, baking powder and spices and mix well, add the coconut milk to the yolk and whisk until incorporated then add it to the bowl with the flour, gently mix with the egg white, if the batter is too stiff add a bit of milk and mix well, put the batter in an oiled hot pan with a spoon and level it, when bubbles start to form on the surface flip the pancakes repeat until you finish the batter and eat them while still warm with a bit of maple syrup, honey o jam!
